Q: What do group walks entail?
A: Signing up for group walks means that an owner is willing to allow their dog to go on walks with other dogs. It should be noted that I carefully screen all dogs during the interview process. Aggressive dogs are not allowed on group walks.
Dogs are highly social creatures who generally enjoy being in the company of other dogs. Controlled group walks offer both mental stimulation and the chance for your dog to socialize.
Q: What kind of work out will my dog get on a 1/2 hour walk?
A: A 1/2 hour walk means at least 1/2 hour outside for your dog. Also, except for potty breaks, walks take place at a brisk pace. Unless you special request otherwise (as you might if you have a senior dog) I can assure you that your dog will get a workout every time I walk them.
