Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do group walks entail?
A: Signing up for group walks means that an owner is willing to allow their dog to go on walks with other dogs. It should be noted that I carefully screen all dogs during the interview process. Dogs with serious aggression issues are not allowed on group walks.
When it comes to the care of dogs, I'm a firm believer in the value of 'structured activity bursts' and 'dedicated down time'. An effort is always made to keep group walks moving purposefully and at a brisk pace.
Q: How long are the walks?
A: On days when the weather conditions are terrible, your dog is guaranteed a minimum 1/2 hour outside time. The average amount of outside time for a group walk is 1 hour.
Q: Do you offer dog run and/or play sessions?
A: Yes, however there is a separate evaluation process for this service. It's generally preferred that your dog first participate in group walks for a period of time before joining our dog run sessions.
